		<description>I tend to agree with your thoughts on another &quot;distracting&quot; IM client.  It would take something pretty compelling for me to try another IM service, as MSN and Yahoo! already have such a large user base and a fairly robust feature-set.  Also, I&#039;m not sure about an IM service that memorializes every moment of my life.</description>

I was using Jaiku (www.jaiku.com) at the same time so only had a brief test of Twitter.&lt;br/&gt;Jaiku was based to heavily integrate with Nokia&#039;s, hence my decision. Twitter&#039;s is Java-based if I remember correctly?&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In relation to being more online, I actually found it improved my life (with those who were also using Jaiku, which admittedly was limited).&lt;br/&gt;They only contacted me when I was free (or texted instead), which meant that it actually improved working life. I&#039;m completely sold on the idea. Unfortunately, those in Europe don&#039;t have much access to unlimited data plans yet so it&#039;s pretty expensive to run!</description>
