When looking for company information such as history and events, the best resources I have found include:

• Wikipedia - I try to always look at Wikipedia first as it usually is a great resource with many helpful links.
• Business & Company Resource Center - This database is fantastic as it extensively covers the history and news coverage. However, once again, a log-in is required.
• Hoovers - I have used Hoovers a number of times, and have always been let done by this service. Every time I have used it, I have needed information that was not allowed within the license I was using. Seriously. Is this data ever available?
• Company website - Of course, the company website will have information, but also has a probability of being biased.
